Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

Young people are who finish their education are not prepared to begin professional career;
They do not know their rights and duties; they are not familiar to labour law, social rights etc.;
Employers very often use the situation;
Young workers are very often victims of their rights’ abuse.

Objectives to be achieved: This project will be a regional continuation of the central OPZZ project “Easier start for the youth – better future of Europe”.It will focus at Malopolska region. The applicant will learn from Swedish partner experience and will use the solutions and conclusions prepared at study visit to construct training programme. The objective of the project is to take comprehensive actions which will help young people enter the labor market and avoid their rights abuse.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Study visits in partnership countries - Study visit will be filled with meetings with the labor market experts, the representatives of national companies owners and the representatives of public administration. The programme of each study visit will be planned in such way, which will allow to analyze the situation of the country which will be visited, discuss the main problems, solutions which are undertaken and compare them to the situation in other partnership countries and relate to the European context. At the end of each study visit a plenary session is planned, during which final conclusions will be elaborated, the discussion will be conducted in order to bring up new solutions and methods of protecting the young workers' rights. These conclusions are crucial for the further phase of the project – the compilation of the report on the situation in different European regions with the different methods of management with the problem. National trainings for young people from Malopolska on labour law, social rights, activity of trade unions etc. – prepared by Polish and Swedish partners.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Regional structure of OPZZ will gain necessary experience and knowledge to lead actions aimed at helping young people move on the labor market; they will have a rare chance to exchange experience with professional partner from Sweden, 100 young people will be trained in labor law, they will increase their knowledge about the labor market.
