Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The project aims at the teaching of intercultural competences as an integral part of vocational training of young people. Apprentices should be better prepared to the increasing internationalization of the working world, the globalization of the economy and the growing transnational mobility and learning needs for employment. One part of this modular training concept will be a 4-week industrial placement completed in a different European country.

Objectives to be achieved: The trainees should become familiar with the culture, working practices and economic systems.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): We are looking for companies in various industries, which can provide an internship for the participants of the project MILENA. QFC is also interested in transnational project activities with focus among others on social dialogue, CSR strategies.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: We have a diverse transnational network of organizations and companies that we want to expand for partners from the Baltic Sea region. In the long term, we pursue the goal of joint project activities concerning job security, strengthening skills of employees and social responsibility.
