Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

Numerous reports and case studies- presented by European Bodies show that the adoption of lCT technologies and, competences by European business environment is a key factor for a competitive and sustainable economy. The rate of 1 adoption of new lCT technologies and competences by European companies dees not match the accelerated rhythm of 1 development of the ICT field and is under the performance proved by other poles of development worldwide.
This project aims to facilitate the adoption of lCT technologies, and competences by European companies and employees as an on-going process aligned with the dynamic of the ICT field. The final purpose of the project being to contribute to j
the competitiveness and sustainability of the European business environment.

Objectives to be achieved: Improve the capacities of the companies to continuously track lCT technologies, and competences relevant for increased competitiveness and sustainable growth; Develop online monitoring and benchmarking tools providing rapid access to the developments of the leT field and relevant applications; Contribute to increased cooperation and exchange of experience and good practice in the use of ICT among companies and employees; Identify and promote transnational examples of good practice in the development of ICT competences for employees; Support the development of ICT competences ofthe employees from European companies; Raising awareness with regards to the necessity of continuous development of the lCT skills.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Comparative research - complex research program aiming to identify the impact of adoption of ICT and of development ofICT skills within companies. Conferences, workshops and round tables - explore and promote the capital role of ICT for a competitive and sustainable economic growth. Interactive events aiming to stimulate the contribution of companies, employers and relevant public and private stakeholders. Communication and promotion - cohesive transnational communication campaign designed to promote the adoption ofICT and the development ofICT skills. Exchange of employees program - linking supply and demand of ICT, providing access to examples of good practice. Develop ICT skills and cooperation. Transnational study visits and exchange of good practice - identify, collect and present examples of good practice. Develop networks of cooperation. Develop an online Portal - as an interactive tool providing acces to the latest development in the ICT field.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Increased awareness with regards to the importance of ICT adoption and development of ICT skins for companies and employees. Increased access to ICT. Increased capacity of cooperation and networking within the European business environment for companies and employees. Increased awareness and access to quality information by relevant publicinstitutions (e.g. Labor, Education, Communications and Continuous Professional Training institutions) to support policies of ICT adoption by individuals, enterprises and public sector. Identifying and linking relevant private and public stakeholders in promoting the continuous upgrade of ICT use by companies. Research - methodology, comparative data, various multilingual reports.Events - conferences, workshops, round tables - develop date bases of relevant stakeholders and generating valuable networking opportunities.Communication - increased awareness with regards to the ICT use and ICT skills, determine behavior change towards the adoption of ICT.Transnational study visits - relevant networking and cooperation opportunities.Portal development.Monitoring tools providing access to the dynamic field of ICT developments as pathway towards continuous adaptation to new technologies and corresponding new skills.
