Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

Young people are who finish their education are not prepared to begin professional career;
They do not know their rights and duties; they are not familiar to labour law, social rights etc.;
Employers very often use the situation;
Young workers are very often victims of their rights’ abuse.

Objectives to be achieved: The objective of the project is to take comprehensive actions which will help young people enter the labor market. The main objective will be achieved through several detailed objectives, which are as follows:- To begin the international cooperation of trade unions from in the field of protecting young people from unemployment; exchange information and experience- To indicate the role of trade unions in the process of protecting young people entering the labor market- To prepare a complex analysis of the situation of young people at the labor market in Europe – which skills they lack, what should be improved in social systems of partnership countries etc.- To exchange knowledge and experience about different national systems, compare them with each other, and try to transfer similar solutions in other partnership countries.- To run an international website giving young people the most important information needed in the process of entering the labor market and presenting possibilities of internships and job offers in partnership countries- To prepare international job fairs, where the employers from Poland and the representatives of foreign partners will be able to present the opportunities given to young people.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Study visits in partnership countries - Each study visit will be filled with meetings with the labor market experts, the representatives of national companies owners and the representatives of public administration. The programme of each study visit will be planned in such way, which will allow to analyze the situation of the country which will be visited, discuss the main problems, solutions which are undertaken and compare them to the situation in other partnership countries and relate to the European context. At the end of each study visit a plenary session is planned, during which final conclusions will be elaborated, the discussion will be conducted in order to bring up new solutions and methods of protecting the young workers' rights. These conclusions are crucial for the further phase of the project – the compilation of the report on the situation in different European regions with the different methods of management with the problem.The report will be prepared by one expert from every partnership organization who will work in close cooperation. The analysis will report on the situation on partnership countries’ markets, it will give the comparison between social and employment systems in these countries and the situation of young people at young markets.Final conference linked with job fairs. On the conference the final report will be presented and the issues will be discussed in international company. Parallel to the conference a job fairs will take place. It will be a chance for the young people to obtain basic information about labor market and workers rights, a presentations on the negotiations with the employers, different types of contracts, its advantages and disadvantages. A presentation on the possibilities of jobs and interns in Poland and Europe will be prepared, also the trade unions will be presented for the young.The job fairs at the regional level.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: The results of the project will be visible already at the phase of implementation. A complex report on the situation of young people on the labor market will be prepared. It will analyse the problems which young people faces in different European countries, will report on the violations of young employees' rights and will provide general conclusions and new solutions which should be implemented. The report will be a result of a series of study visits conducted during the project.Moreover results of the project will be as follows:- the initiation of cooperation between trade unions - the improvement of knowledge and consciousness of young people who are about to enter the labourmarket, about workers rights and duties- a first international website for youth, presenting the basic information about the labor market will beworking- young members of the trade unions will be activated- the image of trade unions will be improved- the public opinion will be informed about the difficulties which young people faces at the labor market- the public authorities will be informed about possibilities of improvement of the labor system.
