Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation): Polish vocational training system doesn’t include employers’ opinion on educational programme planning. It is in vocational schools’ interest to know which qualifications employers require from their students. Technical high school students and graduates face difficulties in finding satisfactory jobs, because what they learn at school seldom meets with employers’ needs. Employers also suffer inconveniences, as they need to waste resources on adapting every new employee.
A way to overcome this issue, is by creating a platform on which all parties mentioned above could meet and develop solutions that would suit their needs and expectations. British model of vocational training involves employers in planning and conducting of educational programme. It is also proven to be effective. That is why the Project includes transnational cooperation with a British partner.
Objectives to be achieved: The extensive transnational objective is to benefit from the experience of the foreign partner in elaborating, implementation and disseminating of an innovative project focused on vocational training.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): 1. Organising and conducting of two study visits for leader’s and polish partners’ representatives at foreign partner’s.2. Organising and conducting of two study visits for foreign partner’s representatives at leader’s.3. Participation in the Steering Committee’s Meetings.4. Preparation and publishing of publication in Polish, concerning effects of foreign partner’s good practice adaptation.
