Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The most evident problem in Lithuania is the lack of the structured and effective methods for aggressive children. In 2010 the team (12 people) of Institute of Family Relations participated and ended ART (Aggression Replacement Training) courses. At this moment organization wants to implement the new method to Kaunas city schools and day-care centres. Institute of Family Relations needs outside experts supervisions and trainings, how to implement the new methods into the education system.

Objectives to be achieved: The main objectives are the implementations of ART method in Kaunas schools and day-care centres for children with behavioural and emotional problems. Institute of Family Relations wants to become accredited ART training centre.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): The main activities – supervisions and trainings, changing experiences.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Planned outputs of project – implementation of ART method into Kaunas city schools. Strengthen cooperation and change experience between different countries who works with ART method. Expected outcomes – better public services for Kaunas community.
