Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):
The project has been developed with the help of representatives of the tourism industry who have an interest in improving access to the archipelago. Together we have identified a lack of expertise in three main areas; the service trade, accessibility and dissemination of information. By leveraging the knowledge and experience, our participants are improving the accessibility of tourist information, transport, infrastructure, design and service for visitors with all kinds of access needs. With better access we can entice new customers with buying power.
Objectives to be achieved: We will provide models of excellence in accessible tourism, network with other projects to learn, to solve problems and share solutions to increase accessibility.
