Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):
- Lack of sufficient education and support for students.
- Existing business incubators do not provide students with adequate training and information about enterprises, knowledge and technology transfer or protection of intellectual property.
- Insufficient practical skills and experience in the field of knowledge and technology transfer.
- Lack of good practice examples in the region.
- Lack of a model of support for knowledge and technology transfer in Lower Silesia.
Objectives to be achieved: Students will develop knowledge of economic activity of spin off or spin out category and they will gain skills in eliminating barriers associated with this category of business: Aquiring practical skills in the field of innovative entrepreneurship in IT and ICT sector. Strenghtening the support to acadermic entrepreneurship in Lower Silesia on the basis of the model created in a country of a transnational partner. Facilitating contact between persons who plan to launch their own economic activity of spin off or spin out category in Lower Silesia and e.g. benficiaries of the measure 3.1 of the OP IE.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Choosing and verifying companies which will offer internships and counselling to the students. Selecting 10 IT companies from a country of transnational partner. Recruitment of interns who will be provided with internships and counselling. Interns will be recruited from among the participants of training, in cooperation with the selected companies. Internships and counselling in a country of a transnational partner. Study visit to Poland. Study visit to a country of a transnational partner. Creating a nmodel of knowledge and technology transfer and support fpr academic entrepreneurship in IT sector in Lower Silesia.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: A model of knowledge and technology transfer and support for academic entrepreneurship in IT sector in Lower Silesia. It will be created on the basis of a model existing in a country of transnational partner. It will facilitatte contact between persons who plan to launch their own economic activity of spin off or spin out category and e.g. beneficiaries of themeasure 3.1 of the OP IE. Development of students ' knowledge and skills in launching their own spin off or spin out business.
