Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The purpose of the project is to create a new spirit, a new culture and a new common  approach at all workplaces in Perstorp municipality.  This will lead to a better understanding and improved communication within the organization. The new spirit will arise from better skills and knowledge about one self and others. The organization is expected to become more professional and effective through identified needs and new development- and training methods. The project is expected to create better conditions for a lifelong learning process. This also will lead to more sustainable skills – which will make the municipality more attractive to live in and to work in.


We believe that transnational cooperation will improve the results of the project in broadening the scope of new skills the staff will gain and provide a long term platform for mutual exchange and learning. 

Objectives to be achieved: The objectives are to exchange experience with partners who has already gone through an organizational change/ or ongoing change (e.g. implementing Lean production / lean thinking or other development methods). What lessons can be learned from others, what are the success factors etc? Crucial aspects that can be avoided in an early stage?
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Main activities of the transnational cooperation are study visits to partners, exchanges of staff (job shadowing) involved in the project and the partner organisation.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Expected outcomes are a new understanding and knowledge in organizational change from different perspective. The outcomes from transnational cooperation will be an important complement to the educational actions in the project. The new contacts with other partners will provide a platform/network for further skills development/exchange of experience and joint development of methods used.
