Game Bridge is an online, multiplayer 3D -game, and it aims at task solving in the area of human sustainability for the context of vocational education. Players are connected to each other via a game server, which runs the virtual world in which all the action occurs. The game can be played on a PC which has a network connection. Player-to-player communication is supported by a chat and VoIP speech system. Future learning challenges practitioners (e.g. teachers and researchers) in the area of education to develop new teaching methods to meet the needs of new learning cultures. Different kinds of virtual environments and games are becoming a more natural part of human life, therefore, the potential and limitations of virtual games should be taken into account when talking about future learning and teaching.
Game Bridge could be a real meeting and collaborative tool for transnational interaction and working via the Internet. It could be translated into English and other languages and used as a tool for national and transnational purposes. It gives a possibility to meet and work together in shared context by using modern technologies and e.g. social media, thus saving resources e.g. time, money, travelling.
