Celebrating Cooperation Between Vocational Schools and Employers

Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The condition of vocational education in Poland has changed over the last 20 years. The unemployment rates amongst young graduates are higher every year, and their situation on the job market seems to worsen. The most important is to acknowledge their qualifications and exchange experience with foreign partners – similar vocational schools and officials as well as potential employers. On the other hand the need for qualified and skilled employees especially in technical disciplines is growing rapidly. That is why it is important to strengthen and reorganize Polish vocational education.

Objectives to be achieved: Exchange of experience and good practice together with potential employers, foreign schools on the level of secondary vocational education. Sharing knowledge allows to create new ideas and put them into practice, international cooperation between vocational schools makes it possible to implement different solutions. Adaptation and implementation or modification of ways of cooperation between employers and schools using also non-economic solutions and practices, taking into account innovations.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Preparatory seminar (study visit), meetings, seminars with school principals, representatives of employers and business, conferences.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Seminar, recommendations for the Polish part on good practices, an evaluation report, publications.
