Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):
The main result of the project is a distance learning system, based on e-learning platform and 5000 contents (approx. 3500 ready) available on-line for students. This result was designed to enable people – with physical disabilities, older, living in rural areas or parents - to profit from higher education level. The main question is HOW:
- promote this kind of education;
- make it easier to use this kind of (modern) system and devices;
- make mentality change (incl. lecturers and the high school/university management, not only students);
- network with other high schools or universities.
Objectives to be achieved: Increased number of e-learning students form groups of persons with physical disabilities and over 50 years old.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Study visits; Experience and know-how exchange; Organization of the joint conference; Recommendations or action plan based on results of the activities mentioned above; Project has a number of diverse activities in its area, so it is flexible. The activities can be adapted to the needs of partner. Project can offer 3 years experience in following areas: ECDL core and advance courses for people over 50 years old and persons with physical disabilities; Creating distance learning system (inc. strategy, e-learning platform compatibility with online management system, e-learning contents structure etc.).
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Small action plans following every study visits (2 in Poland, 2 abroad); E-learning contents exchange; Joint action strategy focused on raising education opportunities for people over 50 years old and persons with physical disabilities; Joint conference.
