Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

Young people are sometimes very confused about the choice of education they have to make. For the schools it’s not always simple to help the young people in making a correct choice in education and this because the school team does not know the young person’s competences and his capabilities. Very often there is not enough time to screen the young people properly and because of that they are in the wrong field of education. This problem leads to possible drop out.

Objectives to be achieved: In the past two years we have been working on an screening instrument in which we try to identify the typologies we work with in our training centre; this screenings instrument is now implemented in our organisation but can be adapted to a bigger use in the whole of the education system. We would like to enlarge the possibilities of this instrument so young people and schools could be better informed about the young peoples competences.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): We would like to work together with different schools in different areas in different school cultures in different countries in order to make our screening instrument a tool that is usable in all kinds of educational systems around Europe.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: To develop a usable screening instrument that can contribute to the elimination of possible drop out dangers in young people’s school carriers.
