Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

There is need for transnational cooperation because there is a great difference between the linguistic competences of teenage learners in Poland, especially in the rural regions of Wielkopolska when compared to the effectiveness of language teaching in Scandinavian countries especially. Teenagers form the rural regions in Wielkopolska obtain significantly lower results foreign languages than their peers in the rest of Poland and even in the urban regions within Wielkopolska.

Objectives to be achieved: The main objective is to introduce solutions used in partner countries and test if they are appropriate for the Polish context in order to improve effectiveness of language instruction in the rural regions of Wielkopolska.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): analysis and comparison of the language teaching systems offered in partner countries; introduction of advanced structural changes in the system of language tuition; training of language teachers from these schools; study visits to schools in the countries of project partners; implementation of tested solutions in the schools; exchange of students between project partners; organising extracurricular activities for the youth which will test newest approaches to language teaching.

If so, it may impact on improved standards in all of Wielkopolska. Gender equality:Gender equality will be ensured by careful processes of recruitment. Recruiting students to the project which will be done in proportion to the number of females and males in the target group. On the other hand, because in Poland the teaching profession is strongly occupied by women, bigger presence of males in the group of teachers might be encouraged.
