Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

There is a big difference between implementation of bilingual education in Poland and other European countries. In Poland bilingual education for deaf people is still in preliminary stage comparing to other countries. That is why deaf teenager learners from Poland obtain lower results in obligatory national exams and get less opportunities on the labour market. Transnational cooperation will enable to learn, share knowledge and experience about bilingual education solutions, and also will allow to create new tools and methods in favour of deaf persons education.

Objectives to be achieved: The main aim of the cooperation is to implement in Poland the best practices and methods on bilingual education from partner countries and work together to create new tools and solutions in order to improve chances of deaf people on labour market.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): organising meetings, workshops and conferences; study visits to schools offering bilingual education in partner countries; students exchanges in partner countries; organising extracurricular activities for the youth to use learnt skills and knowledge in practice in cooperation with partners.,
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Outputs: study visits to schools, students exchanges, extracurricular activities for young people, meetings, workshops, conferences, Expected outcomes: better results in national exams obtained by deaf students, programmes and tools supporting bilingual education with special regard on learning foreign languages, entrepreneurship, mathematics, natural science
