Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The basic problem the disabled have to deal with in Opolskie voivodship, Poland is their low professional activity. The only chance for them to acquire appropriate skills, employment and financial independence is to pursue non-formal education with programme adapted to their needs and abilities. Increasingly the local job market is becoming interested in employing disabled e-workers as Promotion and E-commerce Specialist however there are still some barriers to achieve that. The disabled are struggling with the lack of purse to commute to the place of trainings and hire a person to take care of sick or old members of their families and children. Moreover, they often suffer from low self-esteem and are depressed due to the fact of their long-term unemployment. The opportunity for these people would be to improve the methods of professional empowerment and personal growth with reference to other UE countries’ substantial experiences.

Objectives to be achieved: Our objective is to hold improved courses, group workshops and work practice in accessibility and take individual advice to project leaders and management in order to facilitate implementation of valuable initiatives and exchange of knowledge and experience. We are interested in sharing the skills in professional and personal mobilisation of the disabled that we have gained over last 22 years. The important part of this project is to know other point of view on allowing further education, raising professional abilities and integration of the disabled from different regions and countries of EU.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): The aim of the project is to enhance the transnational cooperation based on the idea of exchange visits at partner’s countries to participate in joint workshops, seminars, presentations and conferences. International meetings are expected to compare the rules of national job markets in relation to disabled people, their conditions and needs in order to search for innovative solutions. The advantage of this could be possibility of access to the translated publications regarding the main problems that we are planning collectively to solve.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: We truly believe that this international cooperation would be successful for all partners and end with final publication on new methods of how to provide the disabled with more effective tools to learn and work on-line. In return each partner may benefit among others by implementing strategies and solutions that seem to fit the law, infrastructure and cultural background of its country. Not to mention the fact that this multinational cooperation could be an opportunity to make recommendations and extend the offer of vocational support for disabled people pursuing to work in e-commerce.
