Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The big problem of disabled people from Opolskie voivodship is the high level of unemployment. The reason of that is caused by the fact that disabled people lack IT and communication skills which are highly required by employers.  The disabled from this region suffer from the lack of money to educate and gain new skills that could be helpful in finding a job. Moreover, they are often depressed and avoid social interactions, so helping them to integrate is also important. What must be done in this case is to hold improved courses, training and work practice in accessibility, focusing on psychological and social aspects of education.

Objectives to be achieved: Our aim is to support professional development with the use of  ICT technology. We put the impact on professional and social empowerment, trying to activate the disabled in everyday life. Our offer includes psychological and professional counselling, group trainings, individual vocational trainings and external work practices. We look for innovations that could enrich our activities and make us more efficient in our actions.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): The transactional activities would be meetings in order to exchange experience and get the access to translated publications and papers. This project is based on the idea of exchange visits at partner’s countries to participate in joint workshops, seminars and conferences regarding the problem of unemployment of disabled people. Meetings like these should be a good ground to discuss crucial topics and find solutions in relations to concerted conclusions.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: This interesting exchange of ideas and experiences is believed to end with the report that gathers crucial information from conducted meetings, conferences and workshops. In return each partner may benefit among others by implementing chosen strategies from partner’s country. However they have to fit the law, infrastructure and cultural background of the country. We believe that this multinational cooperation could be an opportunity to make recommendations and extend the offer of educational, vocational and psychological support for disabled people.
