ICT competence as an opportunity for the disfavoured groups from job market of Podlaskie region

Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

Nowadays most of employers require IT skills from their workers. For the disabled from Podlaskie voivodship is rather difficult to gain knowledge of ITC technology, to find an interesting job that may give them opportunity for better income and lifestyle. Moreover, finding a job is not only difficult for the disabled, but also for people above 50 years old. Both the disabled and other unemployment from Podlaskie need to attend trainings and courses to raise their qualifications and gain a new -profession. It could also give them opportunity to integrate and improve well-being since the often suffer from their social exclusion.

Objectives to be achieved: The aim of the project is to provide the disfavoured groups from Podlaskie with an opportunity of ECDL Core complex training and language course. Our objectives are to hold improved courses in accessibility and take individual advice to project leaders and management in order to facilitate implementation of valuable initiatives and exchange of knowledge and experience from other EU countries.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): This project is based on the idea of exchange visits at partner’s countries to organise joint workshops, seminars, and conferences regarding the problem of unemployment from disfavoured groups, including the disabled and 50+ people. International meetings are believed to compare the rules of national job markets so as to find some innovative solutions and get the access to the translated publications or reports.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: This international co-operation could carry through with new methods of how to provide the disfavoured groups with more effective ways of modern training and courses in ITC technology. This exchange of knowledge and experience is going to conclude with the publications and presentations that include crucial pieces of information and analysis from conducted together meetings. Besides, cooperation could be an opportunity to make many valuable recommendations and extend the offer of educational, vocational and psychological support for disabled people.
