Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

In the current IdA project we enhance chances for disadvantaged persons (early school leavers, people without a qualification, long-term unemployed, single mums, disabled persons) to find a qualification or employment through work experience in another European country. We work closely with jobcentres, social services and youth and help organisations as well as the local economy sector.
We also provide training and qualifications in 20 vocations and offer tailor-made workshops and seminars for professionals.
We have successfully worked in ESF funded projects since 2005 with transnational activities being 100 % part of the projects, our main transnational partners being based in England and Austria. 
We are looking for partners to expand our work and to increase transnationality further in our region.

Objectives to be achieved: develop innovative concepts in the work with disadvantaged groups; increase transnational mobility in the labour market (employability mobility); provide quality Life Long Learning opportunities for everyone; promote innovation and high performance; close cooperation and networking with all stakeholders such as businesses, social partners, training providers; increase of transnational activities in our region.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): work placements, work camps, job shadowing, project work; exchange of ideas and good practices, mutual learning; study visits and expert exchange; further activities to be decided.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: increasing employability of disadvantaged groups: in the current IdA project 64 % of participants have found employment or started a qualification since their return from abroad, hence they have left the benefit system; support and enhancement of opportunities for people with special needs; strengthening of personal, social, professional and intercultural skills and competences; enabling life-long-learning for everyone; strengthening of transnational partnerships, starting new cooperations, making transnationality long-lasting and sustainable.
