Building Social Responsibility

Objectives to be achieved: The purpose of the Project is to develop and implement an occupational education model for the disabled people, taking account of the needs of the labour market and the model of educational outlet management in a High School in Stara Łubianka. The purpose of the Partnership is to implement a development program targeted at the following: - additional didactic and special classes as well as a leg-up program for equalizing educational disproportion in the educational process; - advisory as well as pedagogic and psychological care for pupils who have learning or other problems which may exclude them too early from the educational system (e.g. support for pupils from rural areas, support for disabled pupils, counteracting addictions, prevention programs, preventing social pathology); - additional classes (at school and after school) for pupils, focused on development of key competence, with particular focus on ICT, foreign languages, entrepreneurship, including social, natural and exact science, ecology; - effective educational-occupational advisory programs; - modernization of occupational education and adjusting it to the needs of the local and regional labour market (introducing new education majors, modifying teaching programs at existing majors); - cooperation of schools and outlets offering occupational education with employers and labour market institutions with a view to increasing occupational qualifications of pupils as future workers and reinforcing their ability to find employment (including practical forms of teaching – apprenticeship and traineeship); - implementation of programs and tools for effective management of educational outlets with a view to growing the quality of teaching and development / adaptation of tools for cooperation between schools and employers and local communities in terms of organizing apprenticeship and traineeship for disabled pupils (including financial cover of costs of a tutor).

Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): organization of study visits in the Partner’s country for the leader; organization of apprenticeship and traineeship for the school’s pupils in the Partner’s country; presentation of solutions and good practices in the above area; provision of didactic materials; support in development and implementation of solutions in the leader’s area of interest (e.g. by way of experts’ work in a given area).

Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: to learn and implement modern solutions applied by a transnational Partner in terms of the teaching methods (including additional classes, psychological care, etc.), cooperation with local businesses and labor market institutions as well as educational outlet management; to adapt solutions in terms of occupational activation of disabled pupils of occupational schools in respect of developing durable forms of work for the benefit of practical occupational learning as well as looking for durable employment for the disabled on the open labor market.
