Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation): Our project will create models and methods for young people who have been trapped in unemployment to bring them closer to the labour market by building up their self-confidence. They will improve their language, working skills and get a new perspective of themselves. They also need to be aware of the possibilities within the EU. That will be essential in building a future of their own and finding their proper place in a society. The project aims at finding co-operation models that will combine the knowledge and the needs of the participants with the requirements of the labour market. We will focus on cooperation with partners who had similar problems and managed to work out effective solutions – transferring the model to the Polish market.
Objectives to be achieved: The main objective is to introduce solutions used in partner countries and test if they are appropriate for the Polish context. As a result a development program for young people without work should be created and successfully implemented. This will reduce the problem of social exclusion among young people especially from the areas which used to be very active industrially.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): The transnational cooperation will concentrate on exchanging knowledge, experience and then learning from experience, which will lead to improving our methods of work.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: The participant will find and keep a job or education and become an integrated part of the society; Implementation of the final model worked out with the partner -establishing procedures for working with young people suited to the Polish conditions; Elaborating the paper and the computer version of the program for working with young people; Educating the trainers and specialists for the program; Long lasting relationship and cooperation with the foreign partners.
