Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation): Currently one of the main problems affecting young people is a very high level of unemployment. The most important consequences of unemployment are: deterioration in the standard and quality of life, problem with organizing free time, social isolation, psychological discomfort which is associated with low self-esteem and the feeling of powerlessness. This applies not only to low-skilled young people but also to a growing number of college graduates who have difficulty in finding their first job. The demands of employers regarding qualifications and experience are difficult to obtain immediately after graduating which effectively blocks the path to employment. Through the implementation of the project we would like to prevent the social exclusion of people under 30 years old which leads to mental, material, social and educational disorders. Due to the high unemployment rate of this social group in Poland we would like to draw from the experience and effective transnational solutions in order to improve the economic situation of our country.
Objectives to be achieved: The main objective of this project is the activation of the unemployed and inactive aged 15-30 by applying comprehensive support (acquisition, improvement or change of skills and professional reference through participation in vocational training, gaining experience through the internship, increase motivation to take up employment, increase self-confidence and the ability to move actively on the job market). Increased employment of young people will significantly improve the economic and demographic situation of our country because unemployment and bad financial situation was indicated as a major barrier that prevented them from starting a family.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Within the framework of international cooperation we plan to organize vocational training.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: The added value of this project is the transnational exchange of experience between partners and mutual learning process at the international level. The expected result is to stimulate professional activation of young people under 30 years old, unemployed and economically inactive who are just starting their careers and from the start have to face major problems concerning primarily the work experience requirements or the ability of adaptation to the current situation on the labour market. Thanks to transnational contracts we would like to show young people various possibilities to choose their career paths, help them to increase, acquire or change qualifications and show how to seek employment actively and effectively in the country or abroad.
