Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation): Social Integration Centre offers complex support for people threatened by social exclusion, it contributes to reducing the scale of this problem in Zielona Góra and the region. "Active again" project comes forward to the high indicator of unemployment, train participants with long experience of unemployment, that companies are not willing to employ. People participating in the project are mostly without professional experience and qualifications, people who never had contact with professional consultant, do not have the ability of active work searching, do not believe in themselves and their own strengths. They often cannot re-qualify, because they are dependant from obligation of taking care of a family member.
By two-way re-integration the project's participants have a chance to exit the long-lasting unemployment, social isolation, they gain back the faith in themselves and their own possibilities.
Project's staff is highly specialized, but in order to increase the chances for complex and confident education, their departure to the partner's state is very important. Thanks to it they can develop new, unknown in our region work models that they will incorporate to our reality. Their professional improvement will allow to conduct the training on the highest educational, re-integrational, social and professional level.
Social Integration Centre runs courses for participants receiving education in five professional specializations: gardener- vineyard worker, casher (teller) – salesman, babysitter, baker-confectioner helper, storekeeper - builder.
There is also planned additional training to increase the chances of finding employment, including training in first aid, classes in creating the self-image, ICT and language courses. Simultaneously with professional activities, beneficiaries will be involved in social activities, which will include, among others workshops with a psychologist, counselor, therapist, social worker. Individual counseling is also planned in the field of employment and individual meetings with psychologist.
Objectives to be achieved: Through the establishment of international cooperation in the project we will be able to implement the new form of teaching (training), train a professional, competitive personnel that will teach participants all-new models of work. Study visit of Social Integration Centre personnel will raise their professional qualifications, thanks to their knowledge, participants will have access to the modern tools of education and work. Through such innovative activities we will succeed faster and better achieve the project objective - to reduce unemployment in Zielona Góra and the region, we will also be able to help participants to return to the social life, and eliminate their social exclusion.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): The main benefit of international cooperation will be an increase of staff qualifications and improvement in quality of education and training, resulting a faster return to employment for participants who experience social exclusion and long-term unemployment.(exchange of experience and knowledge, study visits, adaptation of foreign methods, etc. – depending on the scope of transnational cooperation and Partner possibilities)
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Acquiring new competences by the personnel of the "Active again" project and obtain additional skills by those who are socially excluded, the increase of employees from people participating in the project, more people are able to find employment, they skills, knowledge and experience will be more attractive to employers, they will have better preparation to start a new job in their new workplace and therefore they will be more attractive on the job market.
