Close the door to exclusion II is a project aimed at long-term unemployed, registered at Employment Agency in Namyslow and living in the Namyslow County. The project aims to reduce beneficiaries’ deficits in the following spheres:
- key social skills,
- professional skills inadequacy to the present labor market,
- insufficient knowledge of the labor market, shortage of skills in effective job searching,
- lack of professional support,
- limited access to the instruments of professional activation,
Long-term unemployed persons who remain outside of professional and social life for a long time represent deficit of knowledge and skills related to effective job searching. . Without professional support realization of their professional aspirations will remain difficult especially in case of persons threatened by social exclusion. The low level of professional qualifications is reflected by low self-esteem and motivation and as a consequence of above passive attitude and lack of belief in the future. Project aims to reduce deficits in the key spheres by:
- improving social skills of the persons with disabilities,
- improving professional skills of the persons with disabilities (courses),
- gaining work experience (trainings).
The help given to beneficiaries will also influence the relatives of persons threatened by social exclusion. Investment in human capital (professional training) will bring to the labor market qualified persons and will increase competitiveness. Due to current situation of the project’s participants, and taking into account their needs, motivations and circumstances, project aims to increase their chances in the eyes of Polish employers thank to transfer of innovative methods and solutions (exchange of experiences and good practices between member states of the EU).
