Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):
- Poor knowledge of English, which makes it impossible for students to communicate.
- Lack of knowledge of European labour market among young people.
- Lack of defined life targets as well as career targets.
- Lack of courage to take some steps.
- Lack of awareness of their own abilities.
- Lack of experience in looking for a job and a new place to live.
- Lack of professional abilities to use the internet while looking for a job.
- Language, cultural and educational barriers.
Objectives to be achieved: Additional didactic and compensatory activities enabling to give equal opportunities to students. Consultancy and pedagogical and psychological help for students who have problems at school or from some other reasons may stop their education too early (support for students from rural areas, support for disabled students, prevention against addictions, prevention programmes, prevention against social pathology). Additional activities (after lessons and after school) for students enabling them to develop their key competences, regarding in particular ITC, foreign languages, resourcefulness, biology and mathematics. Broadening the school offer by issues connected with labour guidance and consultancy; informing students about advantages they may achieve from choosing the particular educational path and possibilities of further education on the local and regional labour market (school career centres). Introducing new innovative forms of teaching and assessing which are of higher effectiveness than traditional ones. Introducing programmes and tools of effective management of educational institution leading to better quality of teaching and functioning. Cultural exchange.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Organizing study visits for teachers. Organizing students” trips in order to exchange educational, organizational, cultural experiences (exemplary lessons, discussion forums, presentations, sightseeing tours, sports competitions) Final meetings in order to discuss the results leading to introduce improvements regarding the quality of educational institution. Communication through e-learning platform.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Better knowledge of English, which would enable students to communicate. Knowledge of European labour market among young people. Defining life targets as well as career targets. Courage to take some steps. Awareness of students’ own abilities. Experience in looking for a job and a new place to live. Gaining professional abilities to use the internet while looking for a job. No language, cultural and educational barriers for students.
