Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The specialists of Institute of Family Relations (psychotherapists, family consultants, psychologists, social workers, occupation therapists) are working with high risk group families and individuals in integrating them into the society and labour market. Beside other problems (unfriendly economical situation and high unemployment rate in Lithuania, low qualification and lack of practical skills of target group) families are lacking motivation to integrate into the labour market. It is important to change target’s group point of view – instead of being passive beneficiaries of state, being more active members of public and responsible for their life. We are looking for various motivation techniques in working with risk group families.

Objectives to be achieved: -    To raise the qualification of specialists working with risk group families and individuals.-    To improve the social inclusion and integration into labour market for target group.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Experience and knowledge exchange seminars how to work with risk group families in rising their motivation.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: It is expected that through the transnational cooperation members of Institute of Family Relations and partners will acquire new skills and knowledge. Institute of Family Relations will benefits from implementing more effective and structured services for target group.
