Thematic scope of the project:
  • Access to employment and social inclusion

Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

One of the effects of the East-European transition during the last 20 years is a visible and painful fragmentation of
society, which created large marginal groups at risk of social exclusion. The problem puts great stress on the young
categories of society - it is more difficult to integrate since the educational systems are not yet correlated with the needs
of the business community and the new economic trends (green jobs etc.). This prevents youngsters already at risk of
exclusion to find their place in society once school is over.
These are issues affecting all Eastern European countries. Romania and Poland may find a common approach to create
an alternative that involves schools, businesses and NGOs, to tackle the problem, since they are similar in terms of needs
to develop social inclusion, the green economy and progress of the educational system. The project is in line with the
priorities of the Europe 2020 Strategy.

Objectives to be achieved: The general objective is to improve career guidance to reduce social exclusion, which will be reached through thefollowing specific objectives:- improving training of high-school students to acquire new professional competences required by the labormarket- raising student’s awareness on new opportunities on the labor market- developing the institutional capacity of educational bodies to provide career guidance and support socialinclusion needs.
