Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

ATHENA is an NGO in CZ supporting and encouraging unemployed women and disadvantaged women threatened by unemployment by supplying them with training, consultancy and mentoring. Its gender sensitive know-how how to train women was gradually developed from the work in EU-projects for 14 years.
The cooperation with partners from abroad may always bring new incentives for both trained persons and training organisations – it may increase the efficiency of the work with women in this case. 

 

Objectives to be achieved: General objective of the project is to develop an innovative tool /method for a better approach to the care about the target group (TG) described above.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Planned activities: to realize study visits to learn, share and exchange good practices and know-how of partners, to take part in round tables and workshops with TG and stakeholders, to develop and pilot an innovative tool for the increase of employability of TG, evaluation.Planned outputs: the implementation of innovative tool and its piloting, handbook of examples of good practices and experiences from the cooperation to be followed.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Expected outcomes: a new tool / method how to efficiently approach the TG and to help it in better chances at the labour marketGender equality: the implementation of a gender sensitive approach to the training of women is a basis for the development of an innovative tool helping women to successfully enter the labour market and to keep the jobAdded value of the project is a benefit from the necessity of the transnational cooperation – new approaches and outcomes can be achieved only through an transnational cooperation bringing new ways of solution of some “difficult “ problems and concrete examples how it is possible to solve them.
