Give “drop outs” a start so they can return to the schoolsystem or start to work.
In our Second chance-project we work with young people between 17-20 years old, who neither attend school nor work. One of the most important aims of our work is to build up their self-confidence. This is essential for them in order to be able to build a future of their own. They also need to be aware of the possibilities with the EU. Work-experience in another country could be very developing. We would like to find partners who work with similar projects and with whom we could exchange experience.
Similar transnational projects have shown that young people that have had work-experience in another country develop. They also improve their language, their working skills and also get a new perspective of themselves. Some of the participants of our project have not been abroad before. Therefore the travel to another European country can be a great step for them
