Learning through cooperative work for regions in Poland and the EU

Objectives to be achieved: Justification of undertaking  the project• Polish students of vocational schools especially after reorganization of mentioned entities seem to be in the need of starting relations with similar students from other EU countries. The project concerns overcoming difficulties concerning possibilities of this group in cooperation while solving particular problems, subsequent employment, and starting relations with colleagues from other countries. Despite lack of administration barriers of travelling, financial barriers often exist for the group concerned. This project aims to limit this obstacle. Substantive content of the project• The project aims to preparation of the students for professional internships in selected EU country with simultaneous reception of students from other EU countries and organisation of similar internships. Foreign students are expected to stay at families of Polish students that are sent for internships to other EU countries.• Furthermore following trainings are going to be organized:• Practical English language training• Culture training enabling learning about the country to which students will be send in order to prepare joint project.• Training aiming at increasing auto presentation competence.• Additionally interesting cultural program for EU students staying at Poland, and Polish students abroad will be organized.

Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Stages of the project• Selection of participants from Polish vocational schools in the Wielkopolska region. Around 30 people – basic English language skill will be required.• Establishing schedule of planned trainings (foreign languages, knowledge about selected country and its culture, and auto presentation).• Organization, and coordination of students tour to  the EU country.• Reception of the specified number of students from other EU country.• Organization of integration meeting for both Polish and foreign students.

Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Project’s outcome• Following soft results are expected:• Increase of social and professional competences of vocational schools’ students.• Increase of general knowledge about cultures and customs in other EU countries.• Increase of language skills – English language.• Increase of social capital.• Counteracting potential difficulties in finding an employment by vocational schools’ students• Increasing the level of education by teaching practical problem solving at schools.Following hard results are expected;• Increase of competences of 30 students participating in the project.
