Social inclusion of different groups of people.
In the new Project we would like to develop further concept of “sociopsychiatry” ( the concept is still not well definited also in others EU countries). The Project assumes cooperation of various national and international partners.
The Project’s long term plan foresees development of EUROPEAN NETWORK of YOUTH SOCIOPSYCHIATRY for young people that run a risk for social exclusion because of their psychological/ psychiatric problems.
The conclusions and recommendations from the Evaluation of our EQUAL Project were following ;
1. Social support in local communities for youth with psychiatric illnesses is very needed.
2. The model PROGRES is an effective support of youth.
3. The prospective/longitudinal evaluation of the PROGRES model would be valuable.
4. Systemic solution in sociopsychiatry for youth are strongly recommended and needs further development.
