Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

Subject of the Project: Activities concerning extension of working age.

Transfer of cooperation models used in other European countries in the field of sustaining working activity in old age in order to extend working age in Poland.

The main problems are:
a. prejudice of employees to employ people above 45 years old
b. lack of self-esteem, burnout, unwillingness to learn new things among older people (because “there is no point – I am not going to work long enough to use it” or “I was learning all my life and I am the wisest, what you young people can teach me..”)

Objectives to be achieved: General objective: Creating a model of actions to sustain working activity in old age in order to extend working age in Poland.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Activities: Research of existing methods of supporting older people in order to stay active on labour market Adaptation of chosen methods to polish conditions Implementation of adapted methods (trainings, coaching, workshops, physical activities etc. )
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: Added value: Transfer of good practices from other European countries to Poland. Exchange of experiences and information. Import, adaptation and dissemination of new solutions worked out in different European countries to Poland.
