Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

Poland provides systematic assistance for supported employment of disabled people. Nevertheless, accepted methods do not ensure individual support for people with disabilities who are not able to take advantage of various means of support without an additional state’s aid.

The key point in supported employment of disabled people is a role of a job coach. His task is not only to support a disabled person, but also to search actively for job opportunities for this person as well as reach a potential employer and give him or her essential help and information. Also, effective work of a job coach demands a close cooperation with professionals from various fields as they have to perform their roles at different stages of supported employment of people with disabilities.

The aim of this project is to establish a standardized recruitment system that is going to provide a professional and individual support for disabled people to help them enter labour market at least in the first three months of their employment. Moreover, a job coach would monitor the careers of disabled people after this period as well.

The innovative character of this project is associated with development and implementation of standardized procedures of recruitment, training, monitoring and managing activities performed by a job coach.
