International cooperation to develop human resources in Community Social Work

Problems to be solved (justification of the need of the transnational cooperation):

The project deals with international cooperation on development of human resources in the field of Community Social Work in the Czech Republic.
On the basis of a transferred know-how from foreign partners it will be developed and implemented an innovative program of Community Social Assistance, particularly with regard to new legislative possibility of providing social care by social care assistance.
Key activities will lead to an innovation: introduction of community social care. This innovation will be achieved through the development of human resources (education and training). Its functionality and feasibility will be proved in a pilot educational program. 
The key activities, realized mostly at Girasole educational centre, responds to the current needs of the members of the target group, who are receiving care, elderly and disabled, where is the need to provide the care at their homes , to the needs of the applicants and job seekers in order to increase the value of the workforce and the employability in the labor market
The project reflects the necessity to fulfill the demands of deinstitucionalization of social care in Czech republic and is opening new opportunities of social care providing, giving the chance to the members of target groups to use the care in natural environment in their homes, neighborhood, sharing the care with their families.

Objectives to be achieved: Within an international cooperation, an innovative tool will be developed and transferred to the Czech Republic, which is intended to solve the problems of target groups of the social and health care, to increase the employability of the participants in the pilot training module in the labor market and to meet the demand of the providers of social and health care, the employers, for qualified workers in the Community Social Work.
Main transnational activities (as provisionally planned, to be confirmed with partners): Study trip to partner organizations. Creating a pilot educational program. Implementing an educational program. Experience transfer from the project partners to policies and strategies. Conferences and workshops of expert teams.
Planned deliverables & outcomes of TNC: These tools will be tested in the pilot program and their applicability in the Czech Republic will be evaluated by feedback obtained from the receivers of the social care, the participants in the pilot training module and from the partner organizations, the providers of health and social care. Finally, these tools will be put into practice at the local and regional level.
