On 4th & 5th of March 2013, the National Supporting Institution organized next, VI Transnational Partnership Forum in Warsaw. It had a smaller scale than previous events, as it was attended by 38 participants (so far the average size was up to 100 participants). There were representatives of 37 projects (22 Polish, 8 Swedish, 2 Italian, 1 Spanish and 4 Belgian projects) at different stages of implementation - from the idea, through the preparatory phase up to the implementation phase. Forum as a tool for direct support of beneficiaries in searching partners for cooperation, constitutes a complementary element to the existing NSI activities aimed at intensifying transnational cooperation in the current programming period.
The main objective of the forum – to help project promoters to find the right partner, creation of sustainable partnerships and strengthening of TNC co-operation – remain unchanged. However, taking into account the smaller number of participants, the formula of the event was slightly modified. After the initial presentation of the plans for calls for proposals this year for TNC in Poland, Sweden and Belgium, the participants had the opportunity to make short presentations about their institutions and projects, which from the very beginning enabled people to familiarize with organizations present at the forum and learn about general scope of the projects. Of course, the main focus as usually was put onto the discussions between the project promoters assigned to 4 thematic tables:
- people with disabilities,
- youth & unemployment,
- capacity building,
- business & employment.
The preliminary evaluation of the questionnaires received shows that over 90% of the representatives of projects have found at least one potential partner for cooperation. During the forum, however, no letters of intent were signed yet. Nevertheless, the interviews made during the event showed that the project promoters recognize potential to create several partnerships in the near future.
We encourage you to read the materials of the VI Forum, which include:
- program;
- table matching;
- project fiches;
- presentations.
